Because of Burson-Marsteller?s leadership in crisis management, many of our clients have suggested over the years that we conduct external courses in crisis management.  I?m proud to say that, for the first time, Burson-Marsteller Miami is partnering with the University of Miami School of Business Administration, to conduct such a course. The one-day, accredited crisis management course will be held on December 6, 2017, with a Welcome Dinner on the evening of December 5, 2017.  
 
This course is designed for communications, public affairs, legal, security, and other professionals involved in managing crises at corporations, educational institutions, government entities and other organizations.  The lead faculty will be Dr. John Quelch, Dean of the UM School of Business Administration and Charles Edward Wilson Professor of Business Administration Emeritus at Harvard Business School, and Karen Doyne, Leader of Burson-Marsteller?s U.S. Crisis Practice.  Among other faculty will be Jorge Ortega, Managing Director and crisis expert, and Sarah Tyre, who leads Burson-Marsteller?s Cybersecurity Specialty Team.
