THE BRAZILIAN-AMERICAN CHAMBER TO INTRODUCE 2017
BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT ITS TRADITIONAL ANNUAL FEIJOADA

MIAMI, FL (January 24, 2017) – The Brazilian-American Chamber of Commerce of Florida (BACCF) will host its traditional Annual Feijoada on Saturday, January 28th, at the renowned Chima Brazilian Steakhouse, in Fort Lauderdale. This is one of the most important yearly events organized by the BACCF, where it thanks its members for their continued support and welcomes in the new Board of Directors, elected in early December of 2016.

The BACCF is pleased to welcome Ericson Reis as its incoming president. “I am honored with my new role. I have been an active and committed board member,” said Mr. Reis, “and I intend to spearhead initiatives in a productive and constructive way, while building on the Chamber’s strengths, built over the past 35 years.”

Ambassador Adalnio Senna Ganem, Consul General of Brazil in Miami, will serve as the Honorary President. Other elected officers are Manoel Suhet, from LATAM Airlines Group, as Executive Vice President. Luiz David Azambuja, of Capital Guardian Wealth Management, is the Chamber’s Secretary, and Mona Clayton, from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, will serve as Treasurer. All Board Members are representatives from member companies.

Feijoada is considered by some as Brazil’s national dish – a stew of beans with a variety of beef and pork cuts. It is typically served with rice and accompanied by chopped fried collard greens, lightly roasted coarse cassava flour, and peeled and sliced oranges. Caipirinhas and other typical beverages make it a perfect occasion to treat employees, friends, and clients alike. Please visit www.brazilchamber.org for more details and to register.
